Oh, I most certainly wouldn't have said Baron Davis, injury or not...
I agree with the poster above - it is a tough question. If they decide to choose a guard, I'd have to say Deron Williams from the Utah Jazz is having a standout year, as is his team. There's also Chris Paul to consider.
But if they decide to go with a bigger player (since guard/forwards Carmelo Anthony and Josh Howard were chosen to replace Yao and Carlos Boozer), maybe Marcus Camby gets the call. He's having a fine season and may be amongst the candidates for defensive player of the year.

Well, since the West is lacking a big man to play the low post, I really want to pick Marcus Camby, who has had a breakout season at the 5, but there is still guards galore in the west. Jason Richardson, Kevin Martin, Ray Allen, and Deron Williams all are contenders. But I feel they need a playmaker most, so I'll go with Williams as Steve Nash's replacement
