Prince was born in 1958 and is 5'2 tall while Malone was born in 1962 and is 6'9 tall... Logically, do you think Prince could really beat Malone?
Prince is older and a lot smaller... and we all know he's not really in shape. Malone is an ex NBA star who played pro basketball for over 10 years... What do you think?
I looked everywhere and there was nothing such. Where did you even heard that? Anyway, if it's true, I'm sure Malone could have a lifesize tatto of Prince on his leg.
If you're looking for a story between Prince and a NBA player, I know Carlos Boozer is suing Prince because apparently, Prince is renting a house to Boozer for 70 000$/month and Prince made some radical changes (purple paint, logo on walls, etc) to it without Boozer's permission...

Prince and the revolution beat Charlie Murphy and his buddies. But Prince did not beat Karl Malone. No way no how.

I don't think that particular story is true, but I have heard that Prince is quite the basketball player. In one of his concerts he had a rim set up and stopped mid song and sank like 15 three's right in a row.
