The popular answer is VC but I've been watching loads of videos on You Tube and I think Kobe Bryant is probably the best just because of his style and grace. Like he did this one two handed reverse dunk under the basket where he came from one side and turned around and pumped the ball and I swear his head looked above the rim. There's also this one 2 handed dunk he did in the white lakers uniform where I have never seen someone jump from that far away off 2 legs.

His overall skills are without question, and the way he led the Lakers to a 3-1 lead over the Suns in the playoffs was very special to watch. But when it was there to win, he didn't do it.

Everytime down the floor he has a need to do something to make people go "wow no one else could have made that shot". Kobe has been known to pass up an easy opportunity for a more difficult one. Every superstar has learned that you can't make it to the top alone, if he expects to make the playoffs he's gonna have to start passing the ball to Odom and Radmanovic

David Stern understands having a gun to protect your home. He's not convinced carrying one on the streets makes you any safer.

For that reason, the NBA commissioner said Wednesday that he would prefer his players leave their firearms behind when they go out.

"It's a pretty, I think, widely accepted statistic that if you carry a gun, your chances of being shot by one increase dramatically," Stern said during his preseason conference call. "We think this is an alarming subject, that although you'll read players saying how they feel safer with guns, in fact those guns actually make them less safe. And it's a real issue."

It's one that was raised recently when Indiana's Stephen Jackson shot a gun in the air at least five times outside an Indianapolis strip club on Oct. 6. He originally told police he fired in self-defense during a fight in which he was hit by a car.

The NBA's collective bargaining agreement allows players to own licensed guns, but they can't carry them on any league or team business. Asked what kind of firearm rule he would want if collective bargaining weren't involved, Stern said: "I would favor being able to have a firearm to protect your home. Period."

I'm able to make my layups and jumpshots well, but I still stuck at free throws. How do I start shooting free throws well?

Being able to make free throws, especially when they count, is a huge part of the game and I need to start shooting them better for my coach to give me more minutes every game.

Anyone please help!

Why do we need two seperate basketball associations? The girls are just as good as the guys, and some of the guys are just as good as the girls - so why not merge them? Is it because of the money?

I volunteered to coach basketball for a 4th grade boys' team at my old elementary school. This is the first time I'm coaching. I have played basketball for a long time so I know a lot of drills and I know how to play the game. I just want to make this practice suited best for their age and make it fun. I also have an assistant coach to help out. I was just wondering from anyone who has coaching expertise or has advice- what should I start off the practice with? What are the best order to do drills in, etc. If anyone can help that would be great!
