Everyone keeps talking about Nash but Kidd has been doing the same thing for over a decade now. And more consistently to boot.

Jason Kidd has been doing it for a decade, and he is one of the 3 best PGs playing today, in my opinion. But, the main difference is that while he makes the passes and the assists like Nash does, Kidd doesn't score the way he does. I'm not saying he has to score, I actually think there was a quote that went something like "Kidd is the best point guard because he can completely control a game without ever scoring a point" or something like that. He makes his teammates much better because he gives them the openings that only a point guard of his caliber could do. But, Steve Nash does that also, and the main reason people talk about Nash more is most likely the fact that Nash scores much more effectivly than Kidd.
Both incredible PGs, no doubt.

Jason Kidd is pretty much the ****. It took Nash like six years to become a star player, and Kidd has been playing consistantly well for most of his career. I think he's the most underrated player in the league (followed by Marcus Camby, but that's another discussion). He get about the same points and assiasts as Nash, but is also the best rebounding PG in the league. He gets triple double all the time. And HE HAD MICROFRACTURE SURGURY!

I honestly missed the question. It's true, Kidd has been doing his thing for a while now but injuries are all part of basketball. I wish Kidd was still in his prime but the fact is, he isn't. Like it or not, Nash is the best PG in the league right now!

Have you ever seen the two of them play against each other? Nash makes Kidd look like he's standing still. But neither of them have won anything, and I'm not really a fan of them anyway...

Kidd brought his team to the finals, and Nash hasn't really acomplished more than Kidd.

yes i agree kidd did his thing but nash led his team from a bad season to a good season. he helped diaw become a better player. maybe he'll help another newcomer on the suns.
