I think they will lose 162 games. Gayson Fagitek, DiceGay Machocaca, Money Ramirez, Hurt Illing, and Big Poopy will all have terrible years.

The home team is up by 5 at the top of the 4th, the visiting team gets 7 runs that inning to go ahead by 2 and then the ump calls the game because the sun went down. The visiting team celebrates but the home team never got its last bats. The ump seems to have no clue saying the visiting team won?

My son has always been a great baseball player. Recently, his average has suffered, and we have noticed a disproportionate amount of strike outs. Around the start of this "slump", I also noticed, he had been playing PS2 NCAA baseball almost non stop. Is it possible the swinging action of the video game has affected his timing or "trigger" mechanism at the plate in real life?? I thought I recall Tony Gwynn mentioning he wouldn't play video baseball during the season? Any educated opinions would be appreciated..

I hate the Wildcard! I say make it a true wildcard and have two none division winner teams play a three game series in the team with the better records park and then the winner, which would truly be a "wildcard", gets one travel day to go play the best team out of the division winners. Unless that team is in the same division then they play the second best. But you know that!

For all the people who think the DH should not win the MVP award, would you consider giving it to someone like Ortiz if he played 162 games at first but was mediocre to average in the field? Does he have to be a great fielder as well as a great hitter? If so, then most first basemen shouldn't be considered worthy of an MVP (see Jason Giambi in 2000)

I bought a new softball mit about a week ago and I put a softball in it and put rubberbands around it and left it for two days. I then used it to play a little and it is still pretty tough to use. I need to soften it up before my summer season start in june. Any suggestions?

Ive been studying Shawn Green's and Lastings Milledge's spring training numbers. It shows that Shawn Green has been slumping big time, and Milledge has been on fire, but im not sure if Milledge has the experience to play pro ball yet. Who do you think has the spot for opening day?
