That is the under-statement of the century, man.
To me, the beginning of the baseball season signifies re-birth. Spring is here, the trees and flowers are blooming, summer is on the way.. I love it, love it, love it!!
Thank god its almost here. Im such a fan that im knocking off work an hour and a half early to rush home for the 4:05 est time start of my Red Sox v. the KC Royals.

It's finally here!!!!! Thank God, I can live again!
Baseball season is just, unexplainable in words. The way it makes me feel. The fresh cut grass, the day games, the hits, the diving catches, the aura of the stadium, the buzz of the crowd, the peanut shells, the beer (oh the beer), the obnoxious yankee and red sox fans that think they own your stadium, the almost but not quite no hitters, the no hitters, the blow outs, the grueling endurance of 162 games!
I am a huge Angels fan and will be there opening day. In all my years of following baseball and in particular the Angels, I have never been to an opening day and am soooooooooooo excited about it. I love baseball and can't wait!

Being a Philly sports fan since the late Sixties, it has become difficult, if not impossible, to get stoked about the upcoming baseball season.
The Phillies are their usual unachieving, overpriced selves playing in a little league park. The only decent team we've had in Philly is now playing in California. The Pirates, Orioles, and Nationals offer no relief, St. Louis is too far away to pick up on the radio, and New York is off limits to any self-respecting Philadelphia sports fan.
Now all I do is wait for the Eagles to open camp.

I AM! Baseball is like the beginning of earth. Lots of teams will start off to a good start like the Twins and Braves.

I'm ready. But I don't get back to the US until the end of June, so I guess I'll have to settle for the 2nd half.

everybody who is a baseball fan and cant wait for something good to watch. after march madness is over, if we didnt have baseball, we'd continue to hear about the nba which is over run by money and image. i mean please when we have sportscasters checking out how players dress and critiquing them every game on how they dress we need baseball down and dirty with a who gives a expletive attitude.
