The Tigers winning 81 games is a real stretch 2.

Yes they can but they won't be in the Playoffs, there's a Difference between winning 81 Games and Making the Playoffs, They need to win 100 Games to do that.

Well Georgie You know my feelings about their Skipper and I am going to go on record with my Prediction.....I will say that the Whiney sox will only win 68 games this season, which will not be enough for a playoff birth!!!

I think the White Sox will win 88 games. I believe the Tigers will be a little down and win 85 games. I think the Yankees will win 94 games and the Red Sox will win 92 games. Neutral observer here.

Not a stretch,Georgie. If they get pitching from Contreras like the first half of last year,Garland doesn't continue his streaks of good pitching followed by a losing streak and if Buerhle returns to form after a very mediocre season. If those things happen and they can trade for someone like they did 2 years ago with the Freddy Garcia deal, they will be at the top of their division.
Just curious, but which Mike Maroth will pitch for the Tigers this year?Does he have a chance at being sub .500 again or dare I say, losing 20?

No way their under .500 (too much offense)
I give em 95 (good enough for Second and a wild card)

Whos the guy that says you need 100 wins to geeet into the playoffs? What planet does he live on. Does he really watch baseball or is he a plant? We really want to know...

Not only do I believe it, I'll go further and say that I don't think the Tigers will win 80 games themselves.
