No, I mean really are they that good? They think there so great with ivan Rodregez, and they have like no good players.(my opinion)

Do you like? Well alot of people hate the Yankees and that has no bearing on whether they are "good" or not. The Tigers have a nice team. It sounds like you are disappointed in the Tribe as they really didn't live up to expectations. The Tigers have something that others teasm do not right now and that is good middle relief. That is why they were able to beat the Yankees, they could touch the Yankees setup guys and the Yankees could not see Zumaya's pitches. . The Tigers were good last year, they went to the World Series, This year they can fall on their face and that won't take their year away from them. So root for the Indians but don't hate the Tigers because they are beautiful

Get out of 2004 and get to now. Pudge isn't even close to being the best guy on this team.
Carlos Guillen and Placido Polanco make up a very solid middle infield and a deadly double play combo.
Sean Casey brings a bat that makes contact and chemistry.
Gary Sheffied was a superb hitter. We'll see if he still is, but I'm guessing he is.
Craig Monroe and Magglio Ordonez have some pop in their bats as well.
Rotation: Kenny Rogers. Rookie of the Year Justin Verlander. Flamethrower Jeremy Bonderman. Nate Robertson was also solid and is also a key chemistry guy. Mike Maroth also has some stuff, but he's coming back from injury.
And then, Joel Zumaya out of the bullpen, throwing 100+ mph fastballs by you, then just gets mean by throwing a 80 mph breaking ball to strike you out. Todd Jones is inconsistent but more often than not he gets the job done.
Get with the times, and recognize that just because you don't know these guys that they aren't any good.

All there players are good. Their pitching is great though along with their defense. I've always been a Detroit fan. It's better to have all good players then 2 superstars and the rest so-so players.

and plus they have the best pitching prospect and the best centerfield prospect in baseball. andrew miller and curtis maybin. the tigers don't suck. no frickin way.

last year was a fluke
