Yes, i have never liked interleague play. The only time there should be interleague play is in the World Series. The system has not even been done right. When the system was implemented the fans were supposed to be able to see every team from the other league. This many years into interleague play and there are still a number of teams that have no faced each other. Interleague play is boring, takes away from baseball as a whole and just was flawed from the start. Do away with it and lets go back to looking forward to seein gthe opposing league in the Series.

I think that it should go away. Will it? No. Like it or not interleague play attracts more fans which means more money for the teams. I can go on and on about this subject.
The beauty of baseball was that before interleague play, the World Series and All-Star game were 10 times more fun to watch as there were players that never faced each other or veterans that had never been in certain stadiums. The way Interleague play differs from the other sports where teams from two conferences play each other is that baseball does not have uniform regulations for the playing fields and both leagues have different rules, (DH which totally changes the game) so it wouldn't be like the NHL's new scheduling.
And then they like to make it a contest between the two leagues to see which league can win more games against the other. Straight up as a fan of a National League team, I hope that all of theNational League teams except mine lose all of their games since they count towards the standings.
Interleague was a gimmick to get people to come back to the game. Now like the NHL shootout, it's not going away.

No it should not go away, but they should play every team from the other league. Out of 162 games you shouldn't have a problem playing everyone in the MLB. Now you would have to play just one 3 game series and alternate when home games for a year. What I mean by this is one year the Red's play the Angels in Cincy, the next year in LA. One other thing needs to happen also, why can't MLB move Houston to the AL West and balance out the divisions? Otherwise give Portland a team for the AL West and Memphis a team in the AL Central.

I think so. One of the things I used to like about baseball (though I prefer football by a long shot) was that baseball tried to retain their tradition (something the other sports fail to do). When interleague play came in, yet another tradition was lost.

No way! I think it is one of the best things to happen to baseball. I'm a big fan of the White Sox and I think it's great to see National League teams come in to play. Then they get to do something the NL side does not allow......using the DH. And vice versa....the AL pitchers have to bat when they go to the NL stadiums. It's a beautiful thing.

No way. Fans get to see the other players from the other league. It's fun and brings some heated rivalries, i.e. Cubs vs Sox, Dodgers vs Angels.

No. To many cities and fans look forward to the in state rivalries.
Mets vs. Yankees
Cubs vs. White Sox
Reds vs. Indians
In addition to that it's big revenue for small market teams that need the draw.

NO I THINK THAT EVERY TEAM SHOULD PLAY EACH OTHER IN AT LEAST A 3 GAME SERIES AND THE REST AGAINST DIVISION OPPONENTS IF ANYTHING GET RID OF THE DH.

With the exception of local rivalries, inter-league play should end.
