Cause mine is Justin Morneu and he is doing really good and i don't know if he is getting me any points. I don't want to put him first base because i have Jim Thome there.

I am just getting back to pitching and wanted to know how people handle bullpen throwing, both on game day and between starts.

I have found that even after a couple days rest if I throw more than 75% I still have a bit of arm soreness.

Also, warming up for a game, is there any point to throwing 100% until you are actually throwing to a live batter? What about warm ups for each inning? What is your philosophy on this?

I just read poll results on espn.com as to who would represent the NL in the world series. Now, I understand supporting your team, but why is it so difficult for people to be realistic? The poll results showed that the state of OH picked the Reds to represent the NL this year. Now come on people. I can easily name three teams that would beat them in the playoffs (Mets, Cardinals and Dodgers). I just do not understand the stupidty of todays sports fans.

Now, I also understand that Yankee and Red Sox fans hate the others team. However, you're only insulting yourself by saying the other team sucks. Personally, I think Yankee fans are the worst. They spent more than half the season in 2nd place and now that they are in first (by only 2 games), they say the Red Sox suck. Now, if one team was last in the division then I would understand it. But to say your rival sucks when you each have won 5 out of 10 games against each other this year and you're both battling for 1st place, is insane.

if Derek Jeter had hit a long fly with the bases loaded last night? I believe everyone on all the message boards would have called it the great play ever, the announcers would have hailed his "fundamental play". A-Rod does it, and people yawn.

With Pedro listed day to day, the Mets are left with Glavine, Hernandez, Trachsel, Maine and Oliver. For the most part, this pitching staff has been pretty consistent. Who do you think should pitch in the 2,3 and 4 spots?

I was once again shocked and disappointed with Pedro Martinez last night. It seems he is having a terrible season. First the concerns over the toe, then the hip injury, now his calf. Throw in the horrible incident when he started against the sox, and I am wondering if we are seeing the beginning of a decline for him. Please, someone tell me this is just a run of bad luck, and next year we can look forward to the same good old Pedro. Or do you guys think he will continue to decline at this point?

Each team had very distinct and notable ballplayers. Would it be fair to rate them in any order...?

Or who would say was the best team ever in baseball, other than the three mentioned...?
