I'm a die-hard Yankees fan, and couldn't be happier with the Red Sox losing ground.
As for gary s... remember those 86 years before 2004?

Even though the white sox have beaten The Tigers 9 of 12 games so far, they are still 6 and a half games behind them.
So, yes....the white sox are losing ground.
Also, consider that at the all star break, they were 2.5 games behind The Tigers, and have since lost 4 games in the standings.
Even with sweeping Detroit they are still behind them.

The Red Sox right? I'm a Tiger fan so I'm glad that they lost. But what amazed me was that they lost two series against the two worst teams in the American League, that's not like the Red Sox I know.

The Red Sox just swept Baltimore, and they'll beat Detroit. Jonathan Papelbon is the best pitcher in baseball, Ortiz is obviously the best hitter, and they're gonna win the wild card!

well when varitek and trot some back well be better again....as for now wer in a rough patch cuz wer in a series with the team with like the best record in the majors and next week wer starting a series with the yankees so once we get through that and we have our players back then we can snag the division or the wild card to get into the playoffs
