i have a whole lot of old baseball cards in mint condition from my dad and i want to know if there is a website i can go to so i can find out how much my cards are worth....

There are many websites that have price listings. However, the Beckett Guide has become the resource for most dealers, sellers and buyers.
To subscribe to the online guide you'll pay something in the neighborhood of $24.95 for one year. The August price guide doesn't have any ads, so I'm estimating -- you can find out by checking their website.
The online guide has every card manufactured, with checklists and inventory (user-friendly) aids. There is also a print guide which Beckett publishes annually -- found in any chain bookstore.
When you say "mint" condition, be sure you know what that term means. If the cards are old, they are probably not mint. Mint indicates all the corners are in perfect condition ; no creases or blemishes ; the photo is well centered (time hasn't eaten away from the edges, which affects the centering).
Nevertheless -- an old card need not be in mint condition to be valued. "Near mint-mint" and "near mint", even "Excellent-mint" are acceptable, depending on the demand on the card.

www.beckett.com is the website for the Beckett magazine that does the baseball card values.
You can subscribe (for a fee) to the site and you can search by baseball card set, player, condition, etc. The website is a lot better than the magazine, which just lists a few cards from each set. You have access to every single card's value on the website.

im sure their is a store you can go to as well to find the worth of the cards and as for the website i dont know it but im sure there i s one out there somewhere and good luck
