Let the top 35 line up by points and just have the drivers not locked in qualify. That way everyone has a shot to make race.

Go Boris

Jim Hunter said on Thursday at Daytona International Speedway that suspended crew chiefs should stay away from the racetrack, or risk further sanctions. Hunter said the edict was not put down in writing, but "was understood."
Do you agree with this "unwritten rule"?

I believe Nascar should be placing fines on the drivers of these cars that don't pass inspection.Outside of nascar the driver of any vehicle weather it is yours or not is responsible for the car.You accept the condition before you drive it and pay the price if something goes wrong. These drivers know if the car is not right so start handing down fines to them and see how fast the cheating stops.

I wasn't aware of this until now, but I didn't know NASCAR fined 3 different crew chiefs in the busch series last weekend. This is busch and non COT races, NASCAR is fining teams left and right, cup or busch, COT or not. It's crazy.

I think that when crew chiefs are suspended, they shouldn't have anything to do with the team at all during that period, not even being at the shop where they build their cars.

Pick two drivers that aren't teammates on the same team.

My pick would be: Jeff Burton and Matt Kenseth

They are Best Friends and respect each other on the track!

O.K., last week was extremely close and came down to the tiebreaker. This week we will do it the same (pick EACH teammate that you think will do better) but the tiebreaker will be who do you think will finish LAST? Good luck and ENJOY THE FIREWORKS!
1) Jeff Gordon/Jimmie Johnson
2) Matt Kenseth/Carl Edwards
3) Greg Biffle/Jamie McMurray
4) Tony Stewart/Denny Hamlin
5) Kurt Busch/Ryan Newman
6) Reed Sorenson/David Stremme
7) David Gilliland/Ricky Rudd
8) Kasey Kahne/Elliot Sadler
9) Clint Bowyer/Jeff Burton
10) Jfff Green/Johnny Sauter
Tiebreaker: Who do you think will finish last?

Saw this morning on Jayski.com that Nascar is thinking about making the Daytona 500 the last race of the season in 2008 and making the race at Homestead the first. What do you think? To me it is not the same.

At the bottom of the page it has a question of whether suspended crew chiefs should be allowed to communicate with their teams and it has a picture of Steve Letarte next to the question. I swear every single pole NASCAR.com presents on their website I can almost guess what answer is most popular and by what percentage. Well I wasn't wrong today and I would love to go back in time and have them put a picture of Tony Eury Jr and see what the results would have been. as it stands the percentage is Yes 28% and No 72%. What do you think the results would have been had the picture not been a Hendrick crew chief?

who's with me on this i miss dale earnheart sr .i never was a fan of sr.'s but i loved to boo him and me and my friends (most sr. fans ) would argue about it during the race i loved when he would say i wasn't trying to wreck them i was just trying to rattle their cage he was a man that did what he wanted and in the post race interview would pretty much tell them to get over it their were no fines or suspensions just watch out next week that is what nascar should be not this pollitaclly correct bullsh#t that goes on now

I'm going to go with Dale Jr. He's probably the most overrated sports star there is. If you look at his wins, top 5, and top 10 he's average at best.

No matter what happens in Nascar good or bad I think it will always be the #1 spectator sport around! Nascar has gone through a lot of changes, we as fans complain, but we still can't wait for Sundays so we can watch the race!
