No matter what happens in Nascar good or bad I think it will always be the #1 spectator sport around! Nascar has gone through a lot of changes, we as fans complain, but we still can't wait for Sundays so we can watch the race!

Yes, it is the #1 spectator sport; but as far as rule enforcement; they messed up once again.
They came down so hard and so brutally against the 8, 24, and 48 when they got caught; but this weekend they caught both the 5 and the 70 blantantly cheating.
The 8, 24, and 48 got docked 100 points; lost their Crew Chiefs for 6 races, and lost $100,000. On top of that the 24 and the 48 did not get to practice of qualify.
This past weekend. 5, 70, and 82 got caught cheating. The 82 got sent home because the infraction was caught after qualifying. The 5 and the 70 where caught during post-race inspection. Both Teams where docked 25 points and fined $25,000
As far as the racing and the talent in NASCAR today; yes NASCAR is at it's very best right now. As far as administration and rules; NASCAR is at it's absolute worst. It is inconsistent, unclear, and now unfair.

You must be new to the sport. Ever since Brian France took over Nascar has been going downhill fast. New this... new that. Arbitrary enforcement of rules and regulations they seem to make up as they go along. Huge TV deals have us watching more commercial than race. It's not watching the race on the weekends... it's watching commercials interrupted only briefly by short glimpses of racing. Nascar at its best???? No. Nascar at its worst, and it's getting worse by the week.

Where has everyone been the past umpteenmillion years??? This isn't the only time a team has been caught with this supposed "cheating" If you want to be someone who is "lazy" and doesn't push the limits and is never experimenting with new things, you will never reach your potential. You're telling me that no one in here has never broken a rule or broken the law? Please!! You aren't that precious. Ya NASCAR pisses me off, the fans piss me off, and well I'm just generally pissed anyway! LOL but besides that no matter what happens I'm not going to miss a race on Sunday!! NO WAY!!

Nascar peaked a few years ago. Whether it can recover or not remains to be seen, but even a lousy Nascar is still better than most other sports. Greed and marketing have taken over the sport.

NASCAR is attempting to police itself and clear up some of its lack of parity in the rules. The number of fans complaining about cheating or other abnormalities with in NASCAR has got the attention of the powers that be in NASCAR.
Will it do any good time will tell. But for the buck NASCAR is the best spectator sport.
Hopefully NASCAR will clear up THEIR "grey" area and make things clearer for teams and fans.

I think racing should be just that...racing !!!.... Who has the best car and the best driver. When teams are not allowed to use new innovations to make their vehicles better it hurts the sport. Think of all the things that are in our everyday vehicles that had their start in racing. Don't handcuff teams by not allowing them to get everything they can out of an automobile or engine design because when they do, we all benefit... Nascar....Please stop dumbing down our sport !!!!

Your nothing like me then. I have been feed up with it for years now and they keep adding fuel to the fire with there non consistency in there penalizing teams drivers and owners. Any more if you have the wrong bolt on your car is the same as trying to kill someone.
Riddle me that Batman.
Next thing they will go after sponsors for supporting such heinous criminal acts of cheating. That probably isn't a bad idea though, there money is what is supporting every team out there.
I still don't think it's fair to go after the driver for what the owner allows to go on within the team.
But I do understand that me not agreeing with you is what helps this big old world to keep going around.

IM NOT FAR FROM QUITIing nascar.. I do not have access to their pay per view races.. so when they play favs I get sick of it. they need to come back to how they did things before pay per view.they have always embraced GM teams, so I am just sick and tired of it. this year will determine whether i will watch next year..
