Yes, I highly agree with you on this one. Any other job, take police officer for example. If your suspended you don't report to work for anything. You sitting at home, out on the beach or doing whatever until your suspension is over. Police officers can't even go out and be security guards for their city while on suspension. Absolutely nothing. So, these crew chiefs shouldn't even be allowed in the shop. Not allowed to do anything with those cars while on suspension.

When the crew chief is suspended he is not to have any dealings with the team. But these men are in violation of their suspentions when they contact the teams.
As for being on speedway property this can not be stopped as anyone can buy a ticket for the race.
But the contact communication with the teams is where the violation of suspention is.

I agree, I think that if you are a NASCAR crew chief and you are suspended for cheating you should not be allowed to be in contact with the crew, driver, or attend the race track.

Well, you cant really control crew cheifs being at the shop, not unless you put some NASCAR guard at each and every shop.
At the track though, if the crew cheif is spotted at the track anywhere, no matter where at, the penalty should be harsher.

nascar needs to explain their rules better, all they said was they could not be in garage area, do you think when a baseball manger is kicked out of a game he isn't still running the team, by phone and watching it on TV, nascar is just ticked off the the crew chiefs outsmarted them again, Brian France is such a little sissy boy

I am all for it, if their penalty is for a 6 week suspension then they should not be allowed anywhere near the track.

I agree with ya. I also think that they should have no contact with the team at all, not even talking on the phone, but they cannot police that.

you are right, but then there is so much communication going around they have to think of something that can truly keep them out of it
