At the bottom of the page it has a question of whether suspended crew chiefs should be allowed to communicate with their teams and it has a picture of Steve Letarte next to the question. I swear every single pole NASCAR.com presents on their website I can almost guess what answer is most popular and by what percentage. Well I wasn't wrong today and I would love to go back in time and have them put a picture of Tony Eury Jr and see what the results would have been. as it stands the percentage is Yes 28% and No 72%. What do you think the results would have been had the picture not been a Hendrick crew chief?

I'm 100% sure that the answer would have been diffrent . . . if you were watching the race last Sunday, you would have heard the announcers say that Jr spotted Eury Jr's Motor coach during the race. He was also comunicating w/ his replacement crew chief. Everyone always uses the Hendricks team as scape goats. Its cuz they're too good ;0)

Yesterday's (July 4th) piece on NASCAR.com specificly named Tony Eury, Steve Letarte and Chad Knaus violating the "spirit" of the suspension by being at the track and communicating with the teams. Letart was mentioned as having attended a team meeting. This is probably why he was pictured. Jeff Gordon fans snivvel as much as Jeff does!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeff Gordon does NOT rule !!

I agree to a point. But they all need to stay away from the track. Steve and Chad were there this weekend. So it wasn't only tony jr this weekend. The only crew chief that i have heard that really stayed away was Robbie Reiser #17

NASCAR did not aim to discriminate but the fact this is the crew chief for the point leaded then his pix was used.
I think that would be close to the same(25 to 35 % yes)

yea i'm sure ALL the people who voted no are dale jr. fans... Another whinny Gordon fan who thinks everyone has it out for poor jeffie...

I like Jr. but 5 weeks ago I still said the suspensions were meaningless if the crew chief could still communicate with the team

I gave up on Nascar.com. After one race with Trackpass Raceview, I cancelled out and got a refund. I'm avoiding anything that further deepens the pockets of Brian France. And of course they sway those polls. It's just like any other media. I'm in agreement with Tony Stewart... Nascar is getting more like pro wrestling by the week.

I love Dale JR, but I would have voted the same...no...the suspension is there for a reason.

Besides...don't these teams have faith in their other employees to step up to the challenge?

I was thinking the same thing! There's no stopping them from communicating... so 24 is the man to beat... again

I think the most recent compliments I have had were on the last question I asked on here....a couple of people thought it was clever....and I took that as a compliment.
