Let the top 35 line up by points and just have the drivers not locked in qualify. That way everyone has a shot to make race.

Go Boris

That makes to much sense. NASCAR will never go for it.

I think nascar should make every driver qualify every race. If qualifying is rained out then the 43 from the last race run the next day. nascar only started running with locked in drivers when a few favorites did not make the race. Then they created this fixed rule. That is how nascar looks. fixed.

I think that it should be changed as well. I think it should be luck of the draw like it is now with the change being, if you haven't had a chance to qualify as a Go Homer and it rains...oh well. You lose due to the luck of the draw. The top 20 should be locked, not the top 35 either, I think that would make it more competitive.

Dude, what you're saying makes perfect sense. In fact, it's so simple a solution as to be ingenious.
Those, unfortunately, are the two biggest reasons that Nascar will never go for it.

Well wouldn't that result in the same pole sitter every weekend, unless the top driver is bumped down a notch or so?

Sorry, I overlooked the RAIN in your question. My Bad.

i think of that no remember what the non-good 35 communities could get the possibility to qualify for the race even despite if this is a million hour earlier the beginning up of the race they could desire to be waiting to have the possibility to make it in.

wow i was thinking the same thing..let the non-guarnteed racers qualify first and then the top 35..that way they have a better shot at getting in...

I am sory Scooby , but what you say makes too much sense.. and Nascar no matter how you look at it has not had much of that lately even with thier fine and crew chief system.

Your talking silly! That is common sense and when your talking about NASCAR, it will never happen.
It seem lately nothing make sence and if it does...LOOK OUT! Something has to be going wrong soon.

Why not! They're locked in anyway so you're right let the go or go homers get their shot at qualifing first! Good idea!!!
