Auto Racing - December 2007

It really bothered me to see the Team #48 in the corner of the balcony at the banquet. Why couldn't they be at the table with Jimmie and Chad--they participated in his win too! I think it's crappy of Nascar to not have them at their own table.

Kyle Busch and Steve Wallace Disqualified at Snowball Derby: Steven Wallace and Kyle Busch's cars were both disqualified in post-qualifier tech after initially making it into the field. Kyle Busch wasn't too happy. He was tossed from the event due to a height infraction. Both Busch and Steven Wallace were very irate in the pit area and told Speed51.com that they are displeased with Ricky Brooks (head tech inspector) and his philosophies. Steven Wallace was found to be light when crossing the scales after tech. They let the team roll off the scales and roll back on. During that time he was caught trying to put sockets in his pockets.(Speed51.com)(12-2-2007)

Its got a guy standing in front of the E symbol and on the back it says the Intimidator, it has the Nascar logo and there is a tag on the inside that says Winners Circle

just retired in favor of the COT. I realize that even the first cars to race on the beach at Daytona were not 100% stock. I just mean 20 years ago or so when you could actually tell the makes apart without looking at their stickers.

I'm Just curious to see. I ofcourse went from father to son. Made it easier for me to keep watching nascar, but hendricks is the enemy to those old dale fans. I will follow once a fan always a fan. Just wanna know what you all think

Did anyone else notice how uptight these people are? Do they have a note in their contract that they are not allowed to have a good time at the awards banquet? They would show shots of the crowd during performances and noone was smiling or laughing or seemed to be enjoying themselves at all. Were their ties to tight or did they all send clones of themselves? I was just a little disappointed that they all looked like deer in the headlights on one of their biggest nights.
