As far as Dale jr going to RCR...it is obvious nobody is listening when he explained himself about going to RCR...he stated that he did not want to go to RCR because that was his fathers deal and he wanted to be out of his father shadow and do his own thing.

As far as Devil Racer stating that Dale jr wrecked in alot of races this past year.....uhhhh what races were you watching?????? He wrecked only 3 times this year....if you are counting blown engines as wrecks I would say that you are mistaken again, because you do not damage the body of the car when the engine blows up. He had more engine failures and that was the primary reason why he did not make the chase. During the majority of the races he was in the top 5 or 10 when he always seemed to have engine troubles.

My question to you is why are you rehashing something that has already been asked? Are you trolling and trying to get people to argue on here?

I think he made the right choice. If he went to RCR he would have had a lot of pressure from people wanting him to drive his dad's car, and he isn't ready yet. In the future i think he'll go to RCR when he can handle it.

I always thought Junior should go to RCR and think about it.
Wouldn't it be awesome to see a great combo like
Budweiser, Earnhardt, 3, championship
to bad 2 of the possibilities are gone

Thats a good question RCR even offered him more money than HMS..The real reason I think he did not go there is everyone would be comparing him even more to his dad in a RCR car, and it would be when is he going to drive the #3, and he has said numerous times he doesn't want to drive the #3, that was his dad's number.. He made the right choice by going to HMS for the next chapter in his racing career, and I can't wait till Speed Weeks in Daytona..He made the right decision.

It really doesn't matter where he went next season, I mean it's not like he's going to win a lot of races or a championship. If he was so great like many of his fans have said over these past years, where is championship or even a some wins. He is popular yes, but just has the last name of Earnhardt & I place Jr as an average driver & not one of the top 10 drivers in NASCAR today.

... He went to where he thought he could win championships. He saw a bigger picture than what a lot of people saw. A lot of fans wanted to see him there (at RCR) in honor of Dale Sr. including me. Dale Jr has a lot of respect for Rick Hendrick and knows Rick can get him where he wants to be.

... He can still show that respect for Dale Sr in the future but now he's working on his career. His Dad taught him to "race to win". In that sense his decision is respecting what Dale Sr wanted him to do.

... I as a fan I will put my expectations aside and respect Jr for his decision. Still that is a good question.

I kinda though thats where he was going to go at first because his pops drove for him and RCR has the option to use the #3. It would have seemed that would have been a perfect home for him to finish his career. But, there is no better organization than Hendrick Motorsports. He will prosper there. Hopefully for him and his fans.

DK explained it perfectly. Devils Racer, you say Jr wrecked a lot last year, and proudly call yourself a Kyle Busch fan?? You're f**king kidding right? Watch the Texas race, and tell me who that is running into the back of Jr. That's right Kyle Busch, didn't let off going through a smoke cloud and ran into the back of Jr who slowed for a spinning Tony Stewart. In fact Jr saved Kyle from a DNF by finishing the race in his car. In fact all 2 of Jr's wrecks involved someone running into the back of him(Labonte was sideways at Daytona, so can't blame him for that), and when the tire flew off at Atlanta. Sh*t Kyle even wrecked his own brother for f*ck's sake. Man that's just ignorant
