I've been wanting to get my own race team, and I am not sure how best to get started. I know it takes a lot of money - something I don't have since I'm still on disability. any ideas?

For starters if you've never raced you need to start small like a pure stock which is a 4 Cly then move up to limited late model then late model then if you good enough to be noticed to have enough cash or sponsor money you can buy a Busch car or cup car, but before you can drive you have to get your Nascar License which is about 1500 bucks in order to get that it helps to be a track champ somewhere, then if you are gonna do many short tracks you pretty much need a disposable car

any questions just ask I'm a mechanic for an ARCA team and worked with some cup teams.

That's a hard one to answer you gotta get a nascar aproved
car and if your disabled you gotta hire a driver, Then find a pretty high dollar sponsor. Then it takes Lot of work to stay competitive. I think Stanton Barrett has about 1/2 mil. invested,
and he doesn`t run every race. ---one thing I know for sure
I could never Qualify,

the ideal element to do is start up at a interior sight airborne dirt and dirt song, in between the decrease classes. you opt for to start up with a vehicle that would not value too plenty funds, and then artwork your way up once you get greater journey. A song not too a techniques from me has what they call "junkyard inventory" classification races. the guideline enable few adjustments, so it rather is greater value-effective to construct and run a vehicle. as quickly as you have a vehicle, you may ask interior sight employer for to help sponsor you.

I hate to be rude, but you better win the lottery. You need a lot of operating capital before you could even get some sponsorship. This is even for the sportsman series.
