I knew that the Monte Carlo Stopped production in june of this year, I just wanted to know if that would reflect on the nation wide series.

The Impala SS is going to be used in cup and Nations Wide Next year.

From looking at some of the 2008 Nationwide paint schemes it looks like they will run the Monte Carlo SS in 08. On jayski.com i read today the Ford has said in 2009 they will run a Mustang and that chevy(Has not officially said) it might run the Camaro in 2009 and Toyota would run the Solero and Dodge the Challenger.

yes. they also used it this year because they stopped making the monte carlo. dont kno why though. supposedly the monte carlo is coming back on the zeta platform and is to be built alongside the impala when it changes to the zeta platform

they might change the nascar car to the camaro in 09 but thats just speculation

They will use the Impala but also the Monte Carlo for the Chevy teams!!!!

I think, if they wanted too,they can run the monte carlo for 3yrs.I think it is? After it stop's production !!
I believe that's why the CUP side went ahead to the Impala's because,with the C.O.T,and the cost of testing and all !!

I heard they were gonna go to Camaro, Mustang, and not sure what Dodge is gonna be probably Challenger for the next year. I might be wrong but it will becoming in the next 1 or 2 years.
