1. 1979 Daytona 500: The fight between Cale Yarborough and the Allisons.

2. 1998 Daytona 500: Dale Earnhardt finally wins in his 20th attempt.

3. 1992 Hooters 500: Alan Kulwicki and Bill Elliott battle for the WInston Cup title.

4. 1976 Daytona 500: David Pearson beats Richard Petty in a classic battle.

5. 1985 Southern 500: Bill Elliott becomes first driver to win a million dollars in a single race.

In Nascar they use each other week to week to jockey for position. I believe for it to be honest each owner should have one car. Could you imagine a football or baseball owner. Owning two teams playing against each other? It would also bring new comers in that can't fight the Nascar monopolys. What do you think?

Ok why is everyone so sold on Earnhardt Jr. I know he has alot of fans out there and I have nttn against to tell ya the truth I hate Stewart now that guys a joke, seems like its never that fat as$ses fault when he takes 5 people out in a race, anyways what I dont understand is why Jr is so overrated. Im sick of people saying hes one of the best in the sport, let the guy win a championship and then tell me he's one of the best. He's been living off his dads name for way to long and needs to prove smttn on his pretty dam soon.

I saw an article on the internet yesterday about it. I was going to post it but can't find it. Anyways Tony basically said he has $50,000 saved up in case he gets fined over fights with Carl Edwards. I hate Carl Edwards! I was laughing my a$$ off when I read that!

Who thinks Shumacher is overrated?? I think so because he won most of his championships in an era totally dominated by Ferrari. So what i mean is that whoever would have been the leading Ferrari driver at that time would have won all those titles. And in my opinion there are better drivers that won a lot of titles with a car that wasnt so superior than the others.

The season is a couple months away, but what are your predictions? I have mine.

Constructor:
Ferrari. Raikkonen and Massa just seem like a combination that will be tough to beat. McLaren might give it a go, but with a rookie as the second driver, it probably won't happen. Give hamilton a couple years experience and he will be solid of Bruce.

Driver:
It is going to go down to Alonso and Raikkonen. Whoever has the better car will win. Kimi is more aggressive, but that has caused him to bow out from many races. If Ferrari gives Kimi a durable car, he will win, but I am giving the edge to Alonso.

Love it or hate it??? Tell us why. My opinion....YUK! It takes away from the factory models that much more than they already do. Maybe I'm a 'stock' car racing purist??? Buy them off the lot, rip the glass out, pop-in a roll cage and go nuts....that's what I say. Now it's your turn to sound-off.

most people i know that live in the city that i live in they don't know what nascar is but if you go to dallas or nashville everyone you meet knows what nascar is mostly. and is fans of jr. or gordan.

I am 100% not a Dale Earnhardt Jr fan, but what the hell is Teresa doing? Does she not understand That he is that Team. Jr has so many fans and I garuntee his merchandise sells the most. Could she really want him to leave? Who would replace him that would bring that much money? Anyone think that all this is a publicity stunt? Could she really be that stupid??

It doesn't surprize me. Lack of money stems from lack of intelligence and motivation. Perhaps this is why these people like to watch cars driving in a circle....Easy to follow and comprehend.

martin fans.........how many ppl are mad that he went to chevy?....do u think he should run full time in the Nextel Chase? hes running 22 races this year......i know hes "retiring" but hes such a gr8 racer......almost had the win last season......shoot he was first in points till Yelley took him out......lol
