It doesn't surprize me. Lack of money stems from lack of intelligence and motivation. Perhaps this is why these people like to watch cars driving in a circle....Easy to follow and comprehend.
Thanks US News and World Report.

well i am no millionaire, but i do make a little more than 18k a year.,and i am a huge nascar fan..if u see how many people go to nascar races u might change ur mind just a little bit on how much money they make.it takes alot to drive to these races, sometime 4 or 5 states away maybe more, the cost of lodging whether it be motel or campsite, motels raise the prices of the motel rooms at least 3x the amount of one night and u are usually there 2 or 3 days.then u have food for 3,4,5 maybe more people in ur party.then u have souvineers.these things are expensive as hell.lets not forget about all the booze that is consumed by these nascar fans.in the track they cost about $5 for a 24oz can.
i am sorry that i dont meet ur expectations because i am not rich and i like nascar.it just saddens me how someone can act like that towards people.nascar fans are the most generous and friendly people u will ever meet.and anyone that has been to a race knows what i am talking about.
good night, sorry u feel this way about us common folks who like nascar

Your question, and I quote:

"Does it surprize you the average NACAR fan has a mean income of 18k?"

Your "question" would be easier to follow and comprehend without the errors of spelling and grammar.

But your basic premise, that members of NACAR, or the North American Conference of Associates and Religious, are unmotivated and lack intelligence based on a single statistic from a less than credulous source, is not supportable based upon the spurious reasoning you have provided. In addition, what studies can you cite to demonstrate these Godfearing people enjoy watching cars being driven in a circular fashion?

The most commonly recognized activity in which cars are regularly driven in a circle, is called "NASCAR", not to be confused with your subject, "NACAR". Contrasting the demographics of NASCAR fans with the purported income data of the average NACAR member yields quite a disparity. One which might lead one to conclude that watching cars drive in a circle as opposed to, say, singing in the choir or proselytizing, is far more conducive to one's net worth.

Examining the statistics, it appears the average NASCAR fan has a far healthier income, than the poverty level subsistance you claim for the congregation members that comprise NACAR. Logically, from your supposition of mean income of NACAR associates, it would behoove them to take up the Godly cause of NASCAR, and spend Sundays watching repetitive circular motorsports, as opposed to sitting stiffbacked and snoring in the pews.

Yes, it does surprise me but as many others have intelligently disproved your statement I will not bother to quote sources.
My husband and I make enough money to support ourselves, pay our bills, taxes, live comfortably and buy tickets to NASCAR so we can watch the cars race around the oval or road track.
Can you hit the spell check button?

PS: Sometimes we even get the tickets free! Trust me that is very difficult, unless you know someone who is laughing all the way to the bank at your ignorant comments.

Hmm, interesting. Please explain then how 75 million fans (approximately 1/3 of the US population) can spend billions on NASCAR and its various sponsors' products? Why do Fortune 500 companies like Home Depot, Lowe's, Hershey's, General Motors, Nextel and many, many others spend millions to advertise in NASCAR?

On a very basic level, it would be tough to afford a ticket, travel (if necessary) and food for a race based on the income you threw out there (no credible source cited).

Yes, I figured it would be higher since truck drivers and farmers make a lot more than that. I think the low income is not due to lack of intellegence, but due to the age. Younger people tend to make less money.

Why do you care what people spend their money on? They can do with it what they want, that includes paying for tickets to see a fast car covered in decals race around a track 500 times...

But I suppose you are right. You have to earn over 18k a year to be intelligent or motivated, and you can only enjoy sports that dont involve cars or racing.

Another goofball to down a sport that has been goingstrong since '49.

Too bad you can't seem to spell though, it's actually NASCAR, North American Stock Car Association of Racing. Besides, only rich people can amuse themselves playing golf, and driving around in a cart, which by the way, is another racing association, but I wouldn't expect you to know that. Ever hear of PROOF-READING.

Hmmm, Thats really funny. I love NASCAR, and my income is quite higher than that.
But did you know that the average stereotyping bigot has a mean income of 0k? Maybe you should go get a job, and try to work on your people skills.
