Let's say each state is represented by a driver, divided into east- west division races every year, with the World Series at the end of the Nascar year with the top TWO drivers in each division....

NASCAR, like baseball can now be considered a national pastime. Its also an American sport that is loved by Americans, but I'm getting pissed at the fact that the Japanesse automaker Toyota will be allowed in this sport. It should be race by nothing but American cars, like the monte carlo or the dodge charger, not by toyota camry's or corola's

Anyone with me??

I can understand getting aggressive with 10 laps to go, but by the last lap your fate is sealed, unless you are an idiot like Kasey Khane. He should have a solid lead on that 10th spot.

Dale Jr is the real winner here -- he should have been almost mathmatically eliminated now, but Khane's two last lap crashes have Jr in the chase.

Next week my local speedway is going to have a "soap-box derby". It's a full-contact race and the track is going to be soaked beforehand with soapy water by a fire truck. Do other tracks have this sort of thing, or is it their own innovation?

DAle Jr's comment last week about "I wish would could have a better car so we wouldn't need gimmecks to get a good finish" (it was something to that effect) seem to indicate he feels that DEI is behind other teams in engineering & preparation. Is he headed out in the near future?
