NASCAR, like baseball can now be considered a national pastime. Its also an American sport that is loved by Americans, but I'm getting pissed at the fact that the Japanesse automaker Toyota will be allowed in this sport. It should be race by nothing but American cars, like the monte carlo or the dodge charger, not by toyota camry's or corola's

Baseball is full of guys from outside of the USA.
Chevys, Fords and Dodges are full of parts from outside the USA.
Dodge is now owned by a German company. What do you have to say about that?
Ford owns major stakes in Volvo and Mazda and they are Swedish and Japanese.
GM up until recently held a major stake in Fiat (Italian). They also purchased Daewoo (Korean).
Last time I checked, the "Most American Car" out there defined as the car with the most parts and assembly originating in the USA was the Honda Accord.
Let's see: Monte Carlo front wheel drive V6 = Toyota Camry front wheel drive V6.
What's the problem other than redneck ignorance?

Don't you think that the competition will make the American car manufacturers step up the quality? Toyota makes a good car, so maybe this will be good for the sport, and good for the businesses. And, before anyone gets in an uproar, I drive a Pontiac. Firebird. 5.7

I would like to see two divisions in nascar, east and west division, like the national and american league of baseball, dodges and toyotas against the fords and chevy's.........hmmm.......

I'm not with you. I think its great. Toyotas are american made, plants in Tennessee, Texas. Have you checked your Chevy to see were it was made. Probubly in Canada. It will be good to get some fresh ideas involved
