Honestly, neither! I don't love him, but I don't hate him!
When I became a fan he or Jr. was who everyone liked, I just had to be different so I went with Jimmie Johnson! I agree with some of the above that he whines a little too much, but most of them do if they have a really bad day! Jeff Gordon is a bad *** driver who has had some trouble lately, but it's more car issues than driver issues! I wouldn't rule him out to beat Dale Sr.'s record on wins just yet folks!

Jeff Gordon is a good driver... But he is NOT the best ever. Dale Earnhart is the best. Lets be realistic about it. Jeff Gordon has not done anywhere near what Dale Earnhart did for the sport. Jeff looks for a reason to piss and moan. Dale said race or get the hell out of my way. To bad he got out of Sterlin Marlin's way the hard way. God rest his soul.

I can't stand Jeff Gordon !! but , in the same breath - I respect him.1 or maybe 2 championships could be considered a fluke....but 4 ?? THAT'S skill and talent (like it or not).
I' m a Dale Sr fan ,still , and remember some of the battles they had on the track .I think Sr would approve of not liking Jeff , but respecting him...And as for him or anyone else crashing - I don't mind the crashes , but I like seeing them walk away too.

I LOVE to LOVE Jeff Gordon!He is one of my favorite drivers.I dont understand why everyone boos him at races.Him and Dale Jr are the most popular drivers on the nascar circuit.

absolutely without a doubt love jeff gordon. he is most definitely the best active driver on the circuit today. no one can question that.

yes dale earnhardt is the best. but jeff is also good. he has won 4 nextel cup champhionships. he is coming close to tying dale sr. record of wins. so you have to respect him as a driver.. he is part owner of the 48 team which may win the nextel cup.

its funny cause i used to really hate him. up until about a few months ago. i would even root for him to wreck and have bad luck. but now its starting to were off. i dont really mind if J. Gordon wins anymore. so to me J. Gordon is netural. although he is my moms and my g-pas favorite driver. now lets see who is on my love to hate list. it shouldn't be that hard for you to guess. of course its the Busch bros. And now Stewart is starting to get a place on my hate list to. Jimmie Johnson used to be on my hate list too but he is netural to me. oh and my favorite driver is Jr.

I dont really like Gordon but will say he is a great driver as far as talent goes.
Saying that he is the best ever is going a bit far though.

i love him!!!!!!! he could be having the worst year of his life and finishing last in every race and i would still love him!! he is a GREAT driver, and people who think other wise should go take a look at his stats.. compare it to ne other driver and he is definatley high on the list of best drivers out there!
