1.) Why did Queen Elizabeth II become queen instead of her mother when her father died? 2.) Is Phillip known as the King of England and does he have any power? 3.) If Elizabeth were to die who would become king; would Phillip take over or Prince Charles. 4.) If for example Prince Charles had an older sister...who would take the throne if Queen Elizabeth died.

Like I have mentioned in my previous questions, I am a direct descendant of many royals, including Edward I, Henry III, Henry VII, Mary, Queen of Scots, James I, Charles I, and Charles II. My family was nobility until that part of my family moved to America. Is there some way I could get my family's titles and such back and become nobility in England or Scotland?

I found out that I am related directly to the sister of Henry the 8th, Margaret Tudor. Would that mean I am also directly related to Henry the 7th, the father of Margaret Tudor? I'm assuming not, but it would make sense if I was.

When Diana died, the documentary I watched claimed she was more true "Anglo-Saxon" than the royal family - based on her heritage. They said the royal family are really German imports, is this true? Everyone is just as English of course, no matter what there ethnicity or race, but I was just wondering if their ancestors really did move here from Germany

I was just curious about whether or not Charles HAS to be next in line or if Queen Elizabeth could somehow make William the next king?

My mother is from England and she is convinced that Queen Elizabeth will outlive Charles simply so he can't be king.
