It's not his fault but what's he doing playing soldiers?

He wants to be a soldier , no frills just a respected member of his regiment .

His title means if he goes to war he will put the lives of the men who's respect he wants at risk .

He must sacrifice what he wants for the greater good of all and in doing so gains respect .

It is tradition to be a soldier and being a soldier is not playing. Throughout the annals of history , royalty does not refuse the duty to protect.
Did you really expect his whereabouts announced daily for the whole world to know where he is at any given time and date?
*shakes head, rolls eyes*. Maybe the announcements are just diversions?

His thinking is old-fashioned in that he believes it is the honourable thing to do. That's why he's playing soldier.

I guess he hasn't had any significant inner/spiritual experiences yet. Maybe he's got to find an exotic princess from far away to open up his mind. Either that or just run into a good tutor (or Tudor) or two.

It is a tradition for the Royal men to serve in one of the military branches;some see active battle-duty while others serve non-battle tours of duty.Harry will eventually be posted somewhere, but it may be necessary for his location to be kept secret,in order to keep any kidnapping-minded terrorists from a tempting target.

It is probably because Afghanistan is not as complex as Iraq, and his missions will not face road-side bombs. I am not saying it will not be dangerous, but it could be harder for his mates to be targeted

So that he can't be sent there either. I would imagine that before long he'll become disillusioned with the Army, wonder why he even signed up in the first place, then hand his commission back to Granny.

He wants to go but the military feels his presence will jeapordize his unit as the enemy will make it a high priority to target him.

Maybe he's doing what he loves and still wants to fight for his country. I can't blame him for that.
