I'm a Christian, and I seriously don't see how it destroys your faith in God/Jesus or whatever. Whether man was created by evolution/God/a mixture of both, the New Testament message is the same, right? I was wondering if anybody else felt this way, and if so, why or why not?

(Isn't that how it's done? The inner path to truth?) We already have all the right answers. It's an open book test.
"We are divine." "All that Is within us." "We are spirit AND flesh." "We all have inner senses" "We are all one", etc., but it's not enough to have all the right answers?
You have to do the math and come to those conclusions on your own? To 'click on' the experience as the truth dawns on you? How long would one have to follow a trail of insights to reach the experience of TRUTH? Minutes, days, years? Does it depend on the truth being sought? Do all paths lead to the top of the mountain?
Would you have to know where to veer off the beaten path? If a train of thought comes to a dropping off point, do you know when to take that leap of faith in order to pick up the trail again? How do you know if you've gone off on a tangent and can you retrace your steps to get back on track? Can two people follow the same train of thought and reach the 'top' together? Just curious....

I asked a question earlier about Wicca and got a few links all about nature and stuff, I can believe this more. One quote I did like was this one.

"If you take [a copy of] the Christian Bible and put it out in the wind and the rain, soon the paper on which the words are printed will disintegrate and the words will be gone. Our bible IS the wind and the rain." told by a Native-American woman.

I suppose you could say the same about any of the religious books, I am going to study some more. Cheers.

What's the difference?

I'm Protestant. Our Pastor always says while giving Communion, "Blood of Christ shed for you" and "Body of Christ shed for you,". How is the Eucharist different?

You know on alot of cars- you see that fish with the cross as an eye? I was just wondering: What does fish have to do with Jesus at all, and what its significance is.

First read all for a fulfilling answer. I'll read all answers
Star the question if you like it...

1. Why did we evolve? Why didn't this cell or whatever it is decided to evolve and decided to stop when we are what we are?

2. If we are capable of giving birth to a child why didn't we evolve so that we could live forever. If we can generate a baby then we should be able to refresh all our body parts? To make people die and look like this is a test?

3. Why are there 2 genders, Men and Women? We could evolve so that we could easily breed by ourselves? Or from a Queen Human. Or something else. Is it to form human relations and passion and love and compassion so that this life can look like a Test?

I always hear Christians say that the Big Bang doesn't make any sense because scientists can't explain the cause of the Big Bang. Therefore, the logic goes, God created the universe.

1 Yes we don't know what caused the Big Bang, but
2 It's pretty obvious that it happened, even if the cause is unknown.

This leaves two options if you still wish to cling to your belief in God.

God created the universe to make it look like the Big Bang happened to trick us.

or

God created the universe with the Big Bang. He must have decided to do things the long way instead of just making everything instantly. (Note that this version of creation conflicts with the Bible)

Please choose one of the two above options if you still want to believe in a God.

BTW, God "just happening" makes less sense than the Big Bang just happening. They're equally mysterious, at least.

To make this a question, do you have any questions, concerns, comments, complaints?
