Hello,

A Muslim man may marry a girl from the Christian or Jewish religion but not the other way around so you are ok on that point. You are just 14 and can certainly be friends. In the years to come you will have to realize that you may have to make quite a few changes in lifestyle and the ways you socially conduct yourself. A lot will also depend on the family attitudes on both sides and family is important at your age since you have another 7 years and education that must be subsidized by your parents.

One more thing; in many relationships race is not a factor but religion is. If you choose to remain in your own religion what will you do if he insists the kids are raised Muslim? Often in these situations parents with two vastly different religions end up raising kids with no religion so as not to offend or put stress on one another.

What I said is long term and speculative for your case but perhaps it is wise to think pretty hard before taking this first step.

Cheers,

Michael

You can definitely be friends with people of other religions. Whether or not you can date is up to you and him. You'd be surprised at how much you have in common. By the way, I noticed that many first and second generation Muslim immigrants have large extended families that visit all the time. My Muslims friends always seemed to have a lot more fun and eat better food than my Christian friends.

All i can say is watch your footing chicky babe,as these people are freaky in the way they treat their females, and while we are on here, how about i give you a spelling test?
Muslim not Muslem---Catholics not cathilocs-- ok,but on the other part of your question,i would tread lightly as these people will try to convert you to their way of thinking and what they follow, which will be a pack of Christian LIES.

It's up to you. You don't have to like or dislike him based on his religion, you can still be friends. It's not like you're getting married to the guy. Just do try to avoid the subject of religion.

BTW, spell check never hurt anyone!

you can be friends with whoever you want, part of religion is accepting that other people may believe something different to you. If you want to get married there may be a conversion thrown in there somewhere but if your just friends then just be friends and worry about that when you get to that stage

No, there's no problem with being the gf of a person that's a different religion; actually it's cool because you can share different things about your own religion with him and vice-versa.

i say go for it!

Good luck!

Why don't you first learn a little about his religion. Moslems and Christians are more alike than they realize.

Then learn how to write better.

Muslims are good people. Check if he's a good person. Then trust him.
He shouldn't force you to change religion.
You'll see everything will be good.
Be open without prejudice.
TRUST HIM if he is worth it.
