Hell as you speak of it doesn't exist. It was used by churches to scare people into church thus expanding their power base and lining their pockets.

You have a point. However, if someone murdered and raped a baby, don't you think that deserves punishment?

The whole concept of hell is not very clear from the Christian point of view.

But the Vedic sastras describe it in detail. The Vedas also say that hell is not eternal, it is temperary.

Part of hell is experienced on earth. It is the reactions you get for poor choice of action.
If you touch fire it will burn. It's the only way to learn, (for many)
We become perfect by making mistakes and fixing them.

Hell is a waste basket for sin. It was not created for humans specifically. A tree that doesn't bare fruit is cursed. Holding back on fulfilling God's plan impedes a relationship with Him. Distance from God is the ultimate understanding of hell.

Who said 'He' created it?

It's like saying 'He' created darkness, or 'sin' or separation.
There just is a place where He is not, because we are creators too, and if someone chooses to think that they don't deserve or want to be in His presence, there is a place just for that purpose, to escape His Beautiful, Divine, Loving Presence. (It isn't as nice as this place is, to be sure!)

He didn't make that place you refer to as Hell, but He graciously obliges those who choose that separation for themselves (to their own imaginings.)

We don't realize it, but without His Glorious Presence here on earth, it would be hell here also. Some deny it, but the Power Of Attraction isn't as strong here as in the afterlife, because we still have choice, and we have it until the end of our life here. We don't have it like heaven here, because, again, we are in The Choosing Ground. If everyone agreed on making it a heaven here, with no thought for their own selfish intent, it would be.

God never created hell, religion did. Many people live happy and righteous lives without the need for religion. Religion doesn't want you to realize that God and Religion are two separate things.

Please don't believe in Hell. Your reasoning is correct, the bible says that God is love. The idea of hell is a Pagan belief that was introduced into Christianity.

Hell was created for Satan and his demons (fallen angels) not for people.

However, God does honor our decisions in where we want to spend eternity.

You don't get to choose the economy or the weather...but we do get to choose where we are going to spend eternity. God honors our choices...

...and yes, it is a choice. Either we follow His commands or we don't.

Only a cruel and sadistic God would sentence people to hell. I wise and loving God would probably realize that our faults are the results of the errors in his creation.
