I think its wrong to kill people on purpose and then lie about it, and blame it on others. its hard to believe at first but this is the truth.
millions are in on the secret, and they dont want you to know about it.

Dawkins says if there's no proof of a teacup orbiting earth or a flying spaghetti monster then you must believe there is no possibility of them existing. That's a fair argument but the Christian god is not the same as the concept of god. He says if there is no proof of a higher conscious you can only logically be atheist, but he doesn't really address the limitations of the human mind. I mean, a higher power could be extraterrestrial. If there is no proof of aliens existing why wouldn't atheists rule the possibility of them existing? Because some atheists say they do not know if aliens exist. So what's the difference between that and saying a higher power does not exist?

God is absolute, right? - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ahl7LX5dfklqke9HE8Jij8Lb7BR.?qid=20070210163040AAxc79Z

Living or Being right, which is more important? - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjnnC56H0wf2UjxlhWvTm7rsy6IX?qid=20070210161552AAAdf6J

Most of you agree that God is absolute, and living is more important than being right.

So the question is........How could we?

We, mere mortals, in our arragonce claim that each of us are absolutely correct. Isn't that wrong? Isn't God is the one that is absolute? Doesn't matter if we're Muslims, Christians, Atheists, Hindu, Buddhist, we'll find out the truth when we die.

How can we say our religion is absolutely right and others are wrong? Why are we so disrespectful? Why can't we live out our life ethicly, peacefully and in harmony instead of constantly upholding "You are wrong I am right"?

If God is all powerful, then wouldn't he be able to control Satan? If God has the power to control Satan but is only letting Satan have his way with humans to teach us a lesson isn't he being cruel?

God said, "Whatever you did for one of the least of my brothers you did it to me." Republicans are ignoring the fact that millions of children are dying in Africa (and all over the world for that matter), while they cheat people out of money and complain about taxes. Yet they still think they're going to get into "Heaven".... hmm... You know, I'm not even Christian, but I know that's not what Jesus was about.

Just a thought.

I'm looking for what makes you who you are: what motivates you, what are you doing with life, who you want to become, etc. I'm not looking for a general answer about humanity here, but one more about you as a person.

There are many types of atheistic expression and practice: existentialism and nihilism, some forms of Buddhism, and some forms of Hindu beliefs. What form do you most identify with, and what do you see as lacking in other forms?

My family are christen but I don't really believe in their faith. I slightly believe in parts of it. I don't practice Wiccan but I want to. How should I tell them? Also what would change? Holidays are super impotant in my family. Would I be giving that up? Plus, how old do you have to be to start training? Please tell me all you can about being Wiccan so I know what I am getting into?

I know there's a verse somewhere in the new testament that says something like "God has made himself known to all peoples." Can't find it on Bible Gateway; does anyone remember where this verse is?

Not to steryeotype but usually when I see people of color, I see them either as hard core christians or muslims. I don't mean to offend anyone, so all of you overly sensitive people, please keep your comments out. I was just curious if people of color are even familiar with Buddhism?

I am a muslim I just wana try to understand christianity?

Why do chrisitans say the jesus is god when jesus never said it?
(Never said that he is god or warship him in any of the 72 bible).

Is he god or the son of god?
How can he be himself and his own son at the same time?

If god was the creator how can he be the creation?

If god is immortal than how can god die? He can't be mortal and immortal at the same time. Thats like saying I am 10ft tall but 4ft tall too.

If jesus was tortured for the sins of man kind than why is there a hell? Does it sound fair for a man to be totured for something I have done.

If my brother commits murder does that mean I should get punished for it before he even does it.

If jesus died for the sins of man does that mean hitler will go to heaven because jesus died for his sins.

If jesus was god than why did he warship god?

If jesus was god because he had no father than that means adam is double the god that jesus is.

Many more..

because (for the lack of truely understanding scripture) they feel he is unfair, approves of war or kills innocents, or any other thing they feel about God that makes them reject and deny God. Does that change the fact that there is God who will one day judge you and since you reject and deny him, he will do the same for you?

The only reason you see God this way is because you do not fully understand scripture nor do you take the time to understand it and pick and choose verses with out reading the entire text.

Even though Muslims, Christians, Jews, Jehovah Witness, etc. have different views, and I would go as far as to say that some, unknown to them, are deceived and not worshipping God at all, but they all do believe in God. One God that is almighty, everlasting, creator of the universe. How can so many people be wrong?

...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. We all sin, so no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's amazing love, proven in Jesus' death and resurrection for our sake, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to regular Saturday or Sunday worship and children's programs, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs, coffee-and-chat groups, and other activities throughout the week.

Think church isn't for you? Remember, to gain the real treasures--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life--we must go where they can be found, and seek them patiently and persistently.

So, my QUESTION is:
Won't you join us in worship this week, and learn the truth for yourself?
