Everybody has an empty void called the soul. The soul is God-shaped and is a void until God resides enthroned once again in the soul of man. "Religion," atheism, sex, greed, sin etc, etc is man's search for a way to fill that void - but it will never satisfy that void. Salvation through Christ is the only thing that will fill the void of the soul and enthrone God in His rightful place in man. That is not "religion" that is a fact, a reality, and a relationship.
