...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. We all sin, so no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's amazing love, proven in Jesus' death and resurrection for our sake, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to regular Saturday or Sunday worship and children's programs, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs, coffee-and-chat groups, and other activities throughout the week.

Think church isn't for you? Remember, to gain the real treasures--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life--we must go where they can be found, and seek them patiently and persistently.

So, my QUESTION is:
Won't you join us in worship this week, and learn the truth for yourself?

Yes, I go every week and I agree with you wholeheartedly! You can learn the truth in church but you have to be willing to actually listen...

As long as its not traditional organized religion, I prefer small groups, such as the one as I attend, a home church with no silly rules and regulations, just based on the Bible and unconditional love of God. Is that acceptable to you, or is it too anti establishment for you

first of all, no one can just know everything about christianity and life. its impossible. the only one who inows it is God.

& besides, even if almost everything about christianity is taught, it should be repeated. you wouldnt remember every single thing and it'll help remind you of things.

also, christianity is not just about a church. its about a relationship. its not about those stereotypical "dos and donts" but a way to live life. theres so much truth about christianity and yet there are so many lies about it. just read the bible and find out.

so yes i will go to church next week. not because you told me so, not because my friends are there, not because my parents make me, not because its something to do, but because i wanna learn something new and obey God.

I visit a church every week. Nothing feels quite as good as slipping a bit of myself onto the bibles, and then burning it down!

No, I have studied religion the majority of my life, I'm open for all theological debates to qualified applicants through yahoo, but Christianity is about the last thing I'd want to join, and that's the truth.

I was a Christian for many years. Sorry. It just doesn't do anything for me. The religion I belong to now is much more satisfying and fulfilling.

Why do some Christians feel the need to sell their religion? Can't their God reach out to people Himself?

I don't need a fake god to help me attain "peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fullfilment". I already have those things and I didn't rely on a mere idea to put them in my life.

Because I am an Asatruar and I am not interested in worshiping your Middle Eastern God. I have a Kinderd, I don't need a church.
