If I am in torments from a physical illness with no known cure or resolution- and I pray sincerely to Jesus christ as my Supreme Lord to cure me - and many others join me in petition - as time passes and my condition worsens, and no relief happens - would you at least agree with me that this simply means that Our Lord does not will or wish to have me cured. In simple today's english, if we say it's not God's will - then all this means is that He doesn't want to.
Am I not correct in my reasoning??? Devout Jews & Christians please answer. We all worship Ha-Shem, the Source of life.

Have you ever considered getting psychiatric help?

Do you know you're nuts, or is it just sane people who can see it?

As a witch who specializes in divining through card oracle, I am daily asked to read for my co-workers.

I always happily comply (so long as it doesn't interfere with my work), NEVER charge (it would seem wrong to me), and read my cards as honestly and thoroughly as I can. I am not concered with who the requester is or what he/she believes in.

What I do find interesting is that most who ask for my services are Christians.

Perhaps this is because most of the people I come in contact with are -- by default -- Christians. But I would like some more input as to why this may be.

Some Christians have consistently uttered the word "athiest." Not just once, but like, 15 times. Either their keyboard is broken, they don't know how to type, drank too much coffee before typing, or maybe "athiest" is a new theory.

So, what is this "athiest?"

Does anyone else find it odd that John Calvin, who believed in predestination, started the biggest missionary movement in French history? I do! What do you believe? Predestination or free will? Or a combination of the two? I am planning on being a missionary and would like some thought into this?

maybe it's just me, but if i was so arrogantly against the idea of a "greater power" &/or "life after this", i'd be a more violent person... to say the least.
yet history is a complete flip of that! even before Christianity came around, people were killing other people (usually to take something of theirs, such as land) & blaming it on some "Divine ordnance". basically saying "my god(s) told me to kill you & steal your land, & nothings going to change my mind".
but, on the reverse of that, many people have been kind & peaceful because who who/what the worshiped.
so what i'm trying to say is this
if there is no fear of repercussion of ones actions after death, as opposed to the possibility of facing up to your actions after you die, what's really stopping you?
& don't say "laws of the land" or what not, don't even say "common sense", because these factors seem void to one who's "killing in the name of".
