Not the marines, but I do have similar story for you:
About a month after I got saved, I felt a heavy calling to leave my job. I was terrified of the idea and kept pushing the feeling away. I didn't say a word to anyone about it.
Another month went by and then my husband sat me down and said, "I know this going to sound weird, but I think you should quit your job..."
After that, I knew it was from God. I did it, and my husband and I are now happy and successful, far more than before, elsewhere.

god doesnt command you do to anything. god will love you no matter what you do. you might have a feeling that you should do something... but thats it a feeling. sometimes these feelings are telling you to fulfill your destiny... but you something as drastic as join the Marines... you should think about it for awhile. i say at least a year... if you still want to enlist.. then go for it. but seriously consider it... try to learn how to balance reason and emotion.
and remember god's will will be done... no matter what you do.
