As a witch who specializes in divining through card oracle, I am daily asked to read for my co-workers.

I always happily comply (so long as it doesn't interfere with my work), NEVER charge (it would seem wrong to me), and read my cards as honestly and thoroughly as I can. I am not concered with who the requester is or what he/she believes in.

What I do find interesting is that most who ask for my services are Christians.

Perhaps this is because most of the people I come in contact with are -- by default -- Christians. But I would like some more input as to why this may be.

Okay, firstly, Nat, what makes you think I'm a cop? I'm not.

Secondly, I DON'T advertise what I am and what I do. I certainly don't look any different than anyone else. I did a reading for one person I worked with and it spread word-of-mouth (not by me) from there.

Everyone wants to know about the future (or in some cases about hidden aspects of the present). I chalk it up to human nature and general curiosity. Christians are no exception. Mind you, this answer comes from someone who is an atypical Christian. I read the cards as well and I've been asked to read for people from many religious backgrounds.

This must make you feel important. That is the problem right there. You draw the attention to yourself, so you get the glory. In Christianity the glory belongs to Jesus. Many Christians are not aware of the dangers with witchcraft, so they think it is just fun. It is actually something that their God does not want them to do.

Oh, [if you're out of the broom closet, anyway] they haven't tried to pay you to do ceremonial spells? Lucky.
