If I am in torments from a physical illness with no known cure or resolution- and I pray sincerely to Jesus christ as my Supreme Lord to cure me - and many others join me in petition - as time passes and my condition worsens, and no relief happens - would you at least agree with me that this simply means that Our Lord does not will or wish to have me cured. In simple today's english, if we say it's not God's will - then all this means is that He doesn't want to.
Am I not correct in my reasoning??? Devout Jews & Christians please answer. We all worship Ha-Shem, the Source of life.

Ive been sick also for years. I havent been healed yet though I'm a Christian and have prayed and others have prayed for me, however, many amazing things have happened in my life due to the illness, so Im thinking it is for a good reason.

A person suffering from a serious illness went to the Police and asked the Police clerk to diagnose his illness and to prescribe him some medicine. They called the people in white to come and take him away-coming to take you away, ha, ha. He was diagnosed alright and got his medicine.

A person who was burglarized went to the hospital and asked the doctor for help. He got it; he was institutionalized.

First, if you don't ask the right 'god' for help, the false ones cannot. Christ is the way to God, not God himself. He is God's son.

Secondly, if we didn't get sick in this system of things we probably wouldn't grow old and die. Under the 'Kingdom of Heavens' (Rev 21:3,4) death, pain, illness will all be done away with--it's not time yet.

However, God does promise that at times he will hear such prayers. But these prayers need to be directed to the Almighty God alone through his son Christ Jesus. (scripture can be given if so desired)

If God finds that you are an 'evildoer' he will not pay attention to your prayer. However, even the apostle Paul was told to endure his 'thorn in the flesh.'

Strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in the priesthood authority that should be there to lay hands upon you and pronounce a blessing is paramount.

Healing from the infirmities and pain does not always happen, regardless of what outer faith is shown. Only God can make that decision, but if you live, you live unto the Lord, and if you die, you die unto the Lord.

We are placed on this earth to see if we can withstand the risks that will face us. It is a proving ground so we can make the right choices to return to the Father's presence. Having faith is the largest asset to possess.

There is good news and bad news. The good news is we have the Word of God that states 'By His stripes we were healed'. Anything negative is an attack or temptation of the devil. The Word also says, 'When we pray if we BELIEVE in our hearts we rec'd it we will have it'. After you pray & tell God you believe His Word and you believe you WERE healed(back by Jesus' stripes-wounds) the hard part is acting like you ARE totally healed and expecting w/o doubt to improve somewhat each day. Jesus healed the lepers by FAITH and receive your blessing Jesus paid for. Bad part the devil(flesh) will challenge you will pains & symptoms but 'YOUR FAITH CAN MAKE YOU WHOLE'.

I would tell you not to give up praying no matter what. I would tell you to hold strong to your faith and don't give up God will heal you. Just Have Faith The substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Just keep believing in like Abraham.

"And by His stripes we are healed". Not if or maybe "we are healed" We worship Jehovah-Rapha - The Lord who Heals.

We are healed, if not in this world then when our Spirit returns to God the Father, and He is not constricted to our time frame.
Be of good courage, Jesus has over come death.

Jehovah-Rapha- The Lord who Heals, what part of His being, Jehovah Rapha means that He does not" will " or doesn't want to heal? Trust in Him that heals.

Don't give up hope! Continue to pray fervently about your illness. Sometimes it takes years for things to happen, and sometimes things are not in God's will for us. It is important that you don't give up hope and continue to put your trust in God to handle your problems no matter how great they may seem.

Pray that his will be done, and not that of your own. He will give you the strength you need to make it through. If it his will than you will be healed. I have seen it.
You are in my prayers stay strong and keep the faith.

It may not be God's will to have you healed. It may be His will for you to learn to use your illness as a way to reach out to others and to understand this life in a different perspective.

I think god stopped interacting directly with people many centuries ago. Christians spend too much time thinking of God as a person with powers, and not an all encompassing universal force.
