No,he is not trying to say that Muslims are "completely innocent in the whole affair",but this violence had to start from somewhere...Well as I saw many Israelis think that the Palestinians are occupying their holly land,so they have to do something to free it.Israel is leading now a campaign of ethnic cleansing against Palestinians and unfortunately no one seems to be interested in it...
Michael J allow me to say what the Chief of Staff Moshe Ya'alon said about Palestinians:"Palestinians are like cancer and he is just applying chemotherapy".And sadly Israel is run by people like him...Hamas does not recognize Israel,and what if they would recognize Israel?The Palestinians did it through the PLO,after the Oslo accord.Actually Israel said it was a mutual recognition:PLO recognized Israel's right to exist while Israel recognized PLO representing the Palestinian people.As for an independent state,well the Palestinian are still waiting.Recognizing Israel didn't bring anything good,so why would Hamas do it? Yes,Israel is interested in a two state solution,on paper,not in real world,'cos it does everything it can do stop a Palestinian state from being created."Various militant Palestinian factions have publicly declared their intent to push the Zionists into the sea, while no body of any size in Israel has suggested genocide as a solution."Well I guess I just show you about what solution Israel has for the Palestinians...
As for Africa:not a rich region so why would anyone bother about what is going on there...The oil is in the Middle East,not in Africa...And unfortunately people don't know much about what is going on there.You are right we don't hear often enough about Darfur...
Oh and one more thing Michael,I forget to thank you for telling how it is "to push the Zionists into the sea",not the Jews...huge difference...

Tink, get your perscription checked. Your assertion that no one is listening is absurd; check how many headlines there are with either the word "Israel" or "Palestine" in the title, versus countries in Africa where very real ethnic cleansing is taking place. How often have you heard Darfur in the last month versus Israel/Palestine? On top of that, you have it backwards. The popularly elected ruling party of the palestinian people does not recognize Israel's right to a country, nor the Jews right to a land. At the same time Israel has said it is interested in a two-state solution. Various militant palestinian factions have publicly declared their intent to push the zionists into the sea, while no body of any size in Israel has suggested genocide as a solution. Furthermore, if Israel IS ethnically cleansing, they are doing a terrible job.
To answer the asker's question, Jews kill Muslims in Israel or the occupied territories because most Israelis are Jews, most Palestinians are Muslims, and Israelis feel they have to defend themselves from militant Palestinians.

Why does anyone kill anyone? If you're trying to say that Muslims are completely innocent in the whole affair, you're not going to find many supporters here.
Murder is wrong, no matter who is doing it.
