Why do we Atheists have more self confidence than God believers? Is it because we know god is fake?

i think atheists have more confidence not because there is no god, but quite simply because over half the worlds population believes in some short of higher power. & so those who don't, have to constantly defend themselves against the onslaught of religious zealots who try to tell them that they're wrong. so i suppose going through all that BS, & still holding on to what you believe in (in this case, what you DON'T believe in) makes you more headstrong, & in your case, a COCKY S.O.B.!
but that's what i enjoy about answering your questions. you love to shove your point of view down other peoples throats & not care about who says what!

that isnt proof... its just a bunch of people's ideas...

and i will tell you that your statement ISNT true... lol. i used to be an atheist and i didnt have much self confidence... i think i actually had more when i had faith.. because i feel more sure now that there is a god vs. when i was an atheist and wasnt too sure.

and no im not catholic! lol.
