They are afraid of what they will say to thier parents. They think what would they say when everyone asks them why they dont believe. They fear that if God actually exists he will punish them.
.One of them's yonger brother had an accident reacently. She thinks it may be a punishment given by God.
How can I remove their doubts.
I fear that they will be easily brainwashed back to believe in God by the soceity

saying "I am for the Bible. Not for man made traditions. Jesus condemned those in His days for observing the traditions of men, yet turn their backs on the Word of God and on Him when He was here. This is why I do not observe Sunday as the Sabbath. It is the worship of the sun god. Saturday is the 7th day Sabbath. This is Bible speaking here"

I really don't know what I've done so wrong. I just can't win. I now feel wrong I've sent one to her, although she did thank me. She seems so serious. She kept going on about people overeating at Xmas and getting drunk. Well, ok. That's them. So why does she get so uptight about it all? Just because you're a christian, doesn't mean you have to have a face as long as a fiddle.

A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

This is the first time I've been in this part of YA. You have all had me hooked for hours now but I have to ask....

When the Christians respond to questions that they are unhappy with they refer to Satans work and Satan leading the atheists astray and the like, are you serious?
Do you really honestly think that?
Is it a scare tactic that worked on you as children that you have learned to use or do you believe it?
I'm not with you on the whole God thing but can accept that you believe that stuff and it works for you, but satan, the devil?
Do you have to believe in one with the other?
Can't you even just say that the people with different veiws from you are inherently evil?
Would it be Unchristian not to credit it to Satan?

I'm not trying to be arguementative or inflammatory, I guess it just never occured to me that grown ups believe in the devil.

Karma.

Ever since all the apostles past away, than the first church which is the catholic church started, could this mean what mormons teach is true? Did a apostacy of the teachings of Christ happen?

when all fools of christ say that they are saved and protected from evil with their christ, there is mortal caos in their world and lives.for the christ jesus never shows.they call a fake god of the heavens that never did exist.the fact that they called on a man for so many years, they now find out the truth of the situation and than they start crying.afterwards, they see no one helping them, they comit suicide by slicing their throats.they fall to the ground in such anger and shame and than cry out again for their savior.this article that i write is of use for u christians to listen and learn.the fact that all of this will come to truth by myself predicting the actual scene.the actual scene takes place in the year of 2013.the fact that all christians slice their throats is the fact of them losing their god,and him not being real or nothing and them bieng so discouraged.reap of what you learn, seek me and you will learn a better life and have a better God.

An atheist is just that... not a theist. Not a believer in the supernatural (e.g., gods).

Well, are people who don't believe in fairies called a-fairyists? What about people who don't believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Are they called a-FSMsts? So why should people who don't believe in gods be called a-theists?

Besides for statistical purposes.. is there really a reason?

And anyway, we're ALL atheists to some things. Atheists to Aphrodite, Thor, Quetzlcoatl, unicorns, trolls, etc.

Isn't it the same concept? I was just amused to see the outcry over Cheney's expected grandchild. Artificial insemination would seem to be the most venerated (by the Christian Church) way of getting pregnant.

Christians were asked to stop singing so as not to offend someone of another faith.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - A high school choir was asked to stop singing Christmas carols during an ice skating show featuring Olympic medalist Sasha Cohen out of concern the skater would be offended because she's Jewish.

A city staff member, accompanied by a police officer, approached the Rubidoux High School Madrigals at the Riverside Outdoor Ice Skating Rink just as they launched into "God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman" and requested that the troupe stop singing, the Riverside Press-Enterprise reported Thursday.

I'm not sure what category was right, but because this was written on the cover of a bible she left me I put it in this catagory.

What might my grandmother have meant when she wrote to me,

"Mitt Gottes Legen Mitt Gottes Vinn u, liefs"?

I understand there are different dialects but I'd like at least something reasonably close, please?

My uncle has a farm. He violates (Lev. 19:19) by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev.24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I saw a question that made me thing of this. I am agnostic asking christians. If your an athiest I know your answers and I am fine with it.
Lets say for example a kid is dying. You pray to god to help him right?
Would god not help him if you didn't?
Would god help him more depending on how many people pray? This just doesn't make any sense to me. If god is omnipotent/omnipresent shouldn't the need for the child to be healed be the only concern of a god.
What exactly is your prayer going to change or help? This will probably result in a follow up question(s), so keep looking for me.
