Don't blame the religions, the followers do!

Hypocrites? Say one thing, do another? I guess we have all been there at some time. As to what flavour of religious bigotry has the most, I think those who shout about it loudest are the most obvious choice. The quiet ones who simply get on with translating their beliefs into their daily lives and living the full implications of those beliefs are the least hypocritical.

Since human nature is always the same, this must be the religion with the most adherents. That makes it Christianity, I think.

I'd expect a similar proportion of hypocrites amongst atheists and agnostics too

Probably Christianity because none of the followers admit how many millions the church has killed. It is by far the most violent religion historically, there is no argument against this nor even a close second. Between the Crusades, the inquisition and the activities of colonization, millions were killed year after year.

Could a census be taken? Would it be possible ever to recognise a 'hypocrat' for sure? They are severally disguised. The golden rule is not to judge others but reflect on your own Soul to find how pure is it. Our conscience never lies to us. We know when we are right and for how long. The straight answer to the question is that there must be hypo. in every religion, in every body-politics, in every nation.

Islam, then Christianity, then... well, I imagine they all have some degree of hypocrites in them.

All fundemental religious groupings are packed with judgemental hypocrites. They think God can't do his own job for some reason.
They have to do it for him. I think they think they are God.
