Depends.

In some mythology, if a stranger comes to your door you HAVE to let him in and feed him and let him stay to sleep. I can't recall which myth this was, but it had something to do with the god believed in at the time would dress up as a poor stranger. If you shunned a stranger away and it turned out to be the god dressed up, your house would burn down or something like that. If you let him in and he turned out to be the god you'd be rewarded. So to play it safe, you had to welcome all strangers that ever came to your house.

... I don't believe in sin.

But I WILL say that nowadays, in our culture, wandering into a stranger's house, etc. is very rude.

... this reminds me of the Goldilocks story. How did that end again?

No sin if the owner of the stranger house let you come in and allow you to eat their foods and drinks and let you to sleep in their bed..But if you do not be permitted to come in to their house and you made a force effort you will get sin.and you will be reported to the police.
