Dear friends....for your info most of us use the spelling MAKKAH as MECCA. Actually, the word MECCA means SHARAB KHANNA or PROSTITUTE CENTRE. This has been modified by ISLAM's enemies.....It is a huge plan so be careful whenever you want to write MAKKAH ..don't write MECCA please!Please forward this by every means of communication to each and every Muslim

no its completely untrue.even i got this as an email n its completely nonsense even wen u read ne buks of hadith or ne english translation of holy quran u will find dat in sum places its mecca n oders its makkah its jus one n da same thing
ive no idea how sum ppl can hve soo much free time 2 make this stuff up n spread it....

Makkah is not a work of English, so whichever way you write it in English doesn't mean a thing. What matters it what do you mean when you are writing it. There is always talk of some "controversy" against Islam but such small things hardly mater. One writes words from various languages in English in a lot of ways. Take for example Mohammad. I've spelled it with an "o", some may spell it with a "u".
