Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit?

I mean no disrespect, but as I understand it Mary was just a very human girl who God used for his glory. Saint status I see, but then again don't you guys pray to the saints too?

I'm not now nor ever have been Catholic so all I have to go on is what I see on TV so please enlighten me to the truth.
