'O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you dispute about Ibrahim (Abraham), while the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) were not revealed till after him? Have you then no sense?

Verily, you are those who have disputed about that of which you have knowledge. Why do you then dispute concerning that which you have no knowledge? It is Allah Who knows, and you know not.

Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah Alone) and he was not of Al-Mushrikun (polythiests). (Qur'an 3:65-67)

If you actually look at Christianity and take away God and Jesus and the psychotic people you pretty much have the guidelines to be a really good person. I don't necessarily agree with Christianity's views but their way of life is commendable. Do you agree?

My 6 year old step - daughter is being raised as a JW and her mother refuses to communicate with us. As my step-daughter is only six i'm interested to know their day to day routines.

My fiance and i recently spent 12 months going thru the courts just to see her as my fiance had not seen her for four years. She tells us little snippets of what she does but its still hard to gauge exactly what her life is like.

Would there be a lot of meetings and studying of the bible involved? Also we have just discovered that she she has missed a ridiculous number of days at school - is this a practice that is encouraged?

I'm not critical but i am interested if there is anything that i can do to make life easier for her as my fiance and i do not believe in the religion.

'Those who disbelieve say: "This (the Quran) is nothing but a lie that he (Muhammad SAW) has invented, and others have helped him at it, so that they have produced an unjust wrong (thing) and a lie."

"And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon." (Qur'an 25:4-

'And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Quran revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet SAW in 23 years.).' (Qur'an 25:32)

'And when they see you (O Muhammad SAW), they treat you only as a mockery (saying):"Is this the one whom Allah has sent as a Messenger?

"He would have nearly misled us from our aliha (gods), had it not been that we were patient and constant in their worship!" And they will know when they see the torment, who it is that is most astray from the (Right) Path (Qur'an 25:41-42)

As I recently asked a question of what Atheists live for, I was taken by surprise to find that they take such hiddeous offense at being asked. As I am not attempting to hurt anyone's feelings; I am asking in search to settle undisputed stereotypes of Atheists (that I have learned by others' 'word -of- mouth') and seek understanding for what fuels their living.
As was misconceived of me in my last inquiry, I am not intentionally "judging" anyone or holding them on lower standards. That is not my way. And since -if any of the same people who replied my last question should reply this one as well- some asked what motivates me personally: ... It is "Love." Love is the purpose for all things and in Loving others can true peace be found. If there were consequences for love, it would be all the more precious to be had.

Thank you for your answers.

If it were possible to reprogram a person's behavior/worldview, would that be ethical? Should procedures be used on criminals and terrorists? What about delinquents, suicidals, and antisocials? What if people just wanted to improve themselves similar to plastic surgery-make themselves more confident, be a better citizen or better in bed?
