You don't believe in God. Fair enough.

But what is this God you don't believe in? No religion has, as far as I can tell, ever managed to tie down just what God is supposed to be. It could be some random life force, it could be some existential father figure, it could be the personification of our fathers as a cosmic entity, it could be some peripheral standard of justice, it could be just the origin of the world (whatever that is)...

Doesn't Atheism take the definitions of deity by their cultural religion for granted; in effect believing their proclamations about the God they worship? Or does it have some internal definition of what it is that it doesn't believe exists?

Mav watched a little of Dr 90210 this morning, and they had on this woman who admitted to be addicted to plastic surgery.
She is scheduled to have yet another procedure.

Is she the sinner or is the Doctor a sinner for not cutting her off the 'drug'?

Adventists don't go to church on sundays, they don't believe in life after death (but in a resurrection), they don't believe in "souls" and don't believe in hell (but in annihilation).

Christians..Catholics..and many others..

some say Jesus is son of god, some say he is not he's the second god..some were saying there are 3 in 1 god..and bla..bla..bla..
why is this happening? isnt it shows that you people are not really sure which one to believe on..and still use the same corrupted Bible..so many style of teaching..so many style of Bible to follow..
it looks like you all need to change and corrupt the Bible again to suit your life style..

so some were saying Jesus was god's son..God is Holy..Mary the Human is a sinner ( according to someone claims he's a christian )..God cant look on sinner..so LOGICLY..how come God can send Jesus (your so called God's son) spirit into Mary..?? Holy mix a sinner?? weird?!

In Islam, we believe that Allah sent Jesus spirit into Mary ( a holy virgin without a SIN ) and born into the world with miracles.. the miracles was actually to show humans that Allah is present and exist and Jesus was one of His many miracles..

In Genesis chapter 9 it speaks of Noah's sons covering his nakedness he curses them. Why did Noah curse them for covering him up? I have never understood this???

my wish would be that everyone could accept one another reguardless of thier religious beliefs,sexual orientation,political affiliation,and love and respect your fellow human beings.we are human beings first,right?it saddens me that all the things i have listed are what people are usually,sometimes judged by.

Acctually I just wanted to see how many people would say yes to him then I don't need to know how you personally feel about me and my religion I am a Christian and proud of it, I was trying to make a point that if people answered and said yes they would follow him if they could do all of these things then it's not really God they don't believe in they just don't want to do right. why?? dont you have any other good things to do except condemning the muslims??

loves making fun at their God and His messenger/Prophet??!!

what do you FEEL..if other people making fun of your God, calling Him names and mocking Him..

dont you know that we are all actually pray to the same God but with a different way..??

I have heard that the reason only some people witnessed the ressurection was because those were the people that had eaten some of Jesus' body. Only the ones who had eaten some of his flesh could see him afterwards.The person who told me this, who is my therapist, also said that the reason "the holy mass" is called that is because after they took the body down from the cross a big mass of people rushed up and ate it.

than what do we have to go by, how do we know that todays bible is in the original words and form and that it wasnt changed,how do we compare the 2 texts to make sure what we are reading is accurate, geeez dont say faith, or just i believe, because if thats the case i believe its time for a beer

how do i find holy heroes for my religion?
i refuse to just make nything up, i want my religion to be based on truth but i need some holy figures for my religion as an icon, you know like someone my people can look up to, but how do i find a real person that i can use in my religion?

I see so many pretty, sweet-faced girls who have renounced the worldly life and become nuns. And I wonder: "They could have made such nce wives to the right men, and would have borne such nice children! What prompted them to give up all this for a life of strict austerity? What exactly was the nature of their calling? Or is this an escapism ?" No offence intended.
