how do i find holy heroes for my religion?
i refuse to just make nything up, i want my religion to be based on truth but i need some holy figures for my religion as an icon, you know like someone my people can look up to, but how do i find a real person that i can use in my religion?
please be serious, thanks!

my religion is "Fede Della Strega"
It means "Faith of the witch"
And i am not using jesus in a pagan religion that is offensive to christians everywhere

I don't think that Pagans respecting Jesus is offensive to Christians.
I think this is why many Pagans use the multiple gods from multiple pantheons...to represent the different aspects of divinity that apply to different needs. I think the most important aspect for your choice is that you really relate to and are touched by what a person, god or goddess represents for you. It has to be a personal choice!
(and if you want to relate to Jesus, don't worry about the Christians, it will be OK with Jesus, I am sure)

if you take away the religion and simply focus of the teachings of these people ... then you have wonderfully inspired and beautiful people

most pagans do respect the teachings of Jesus .. i know i do ...
and i dont see how that could or should be offensive to anyone

Your best bet is to choose someone who's been dead a couple hundred years. It's even better if they were poor and/or there is little record of their physical life.
That way you can embellish their life and add on miracles and a resurrection story and call them the children of god.

Jesus is the perfect example for people to follow. Aside from Adam and Eve, he was the only perfect human to live and certainly anyone wanting a role model would do well to follow closely in his footsteps.
