Adventists don't go to church on sundays, they don't believe in life after death (but in a resurrection), they don't believe in "souls" and don't believe in hell (but in annihilation).

Why believe in any gods at all? There's no evidence for them.

There is no such thing as the Adventist god. Just as there is no such thing as the Catholic god or the Baptist god. As far as I know all Christians believe in the same God. It is just that we have different opinions as to what He is like.

Anyhow, I'm an Adventist and I trust in God, but I'm still not sure how to answer your question. I understand that for most Christians the idea of not going to church on sundays and not believing in an immortial soul, nor in a hell in which the damned are eternally tormented is contrary to what they have been taught and grown accustomed to, but Adventists are not the only Christians to believe these things, we are just some of the few who believe all these things at the same time. And we believe them, because we understand the Bible to teach them.

Hope this helps.

For Adventists, worshipping Sabbath is obeying God's command. Worshipping Sunday or any other day is simply not following that command. There is nothing particularly crucial in Sabbath.

Adventists believe in after life, of course.

Christ and the work of cross are not diminished. Because of the Christ's death for us, we are saved. But we must show our gratitude with love to other people and doing good deeds to them.
That is an Adventist stand. For them, God is everything a word god implies, plus, he is a friend, one that understands people and directs them as much as they let him.

I believe in and trust the God that Adventist SAY they believe in.

Adventist are simply misinformed. They believe in Ellen G. White as a prophet. She had many visions which dictate their interpretation of scripture.

Adventist err not in WHICH God they have chosen for they believe in the trinity and they believe in Christ, however, they severely diminish Christ and the work of the cross.

Adventist believe in a two-part salvation. One, you must first believe in Christ. Two, you must accept the Seventh-day Sabbath and you must keep it. Adventist believe that those who continue to worship on Sunday will receive the mark of the beast. Hence, believing in Christ is just the beginning and if you reject the Sabbath message believing in Christ is not enough to save you.

Adventist do not believe in the rapture; they believe Christians will live on this earth through the tribulation. During the tribulation, Adventist also believe that the Holy Spirit will be withdrawn and believers will have to live in perfection without Him. Only those who are able to live in perfection will go to heaven at the end of the tribulation.

"Adventist salvation" is dependent on human works not the work of the cross.

There is only one God and He is the Almighty God. the God of Abraham.

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Judges 10:13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

We are not to bring up any other Gods.

Hello!

On the webpage you gave, there's found this Bible verse:

"The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23.

I think it's being logic and reasonable: If there's an eternal tornment in hell, wouldn't that be eternal life, in hell, burning forever, but eternal life anyways?

" 'The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.' Romans 6:23. 'Sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.' James 1:15. 'God ... gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.' John 3:16." (Amazing Facts Study Guide: Is The Devil In Charge Of Hell?)

"The wages (or punishment) for sin is death, not everlasting life in hellfire. The wicked 'perish,' or receive 'death.' The righteous receive 'everlasting life.' " (Ibid)
