in my humble opinion spirituality has nothing to do with defending or promoting, criticising or fortifying any of the various and myriad tenets, practices or rituals attached to religion. What is your perspective?

i have parade to Jesus before asked him to come to me but i have never felt his love only one but i went to a small group in the UK the cell group an introduction in to Christianity. and we did a paraded for Jesus to come to us i felt an overwhelming seance of something trying to come to me mabe love i felt someone in the house say ing a prear for me but in my head i herd a voice saying this isn't real you are going to make a seen in front of all thees people i don't no why i am Taiping this i just need help for some reason i don't feel i can talk to the rest of the group something keep telling me i am being stupid for some strange reason i seem to be sered of there reaction i felt i got such a strong feeling i felt i was going to colaps and but i am scerd of all the pepol may think i was taking the mick or somthing the feeling i felt was just that strong i had no idia what to do o felt a voce inside saying stop it you are making a fool of your sellf as no one elce is even moving

Shouldn't God be beyond words?
But the holy books are full of words..
They try to explain God using words..
Even personifying God (like a man who punishes,envies,gets angry...etc)

So why would you let them be around Homosexuals that are open about their sin? Example...Teachers of your children in the public school that are open about their homosexuality.

Shouldn't Christians be allowed to demand that their child be kept away from such a teacher in the public school?

My aunt called me regarding this...issue of Divorce (She is Christian and she was arguing this point with someone else). She knows I can quote back the bible and asked me which verse talk about it....


As I have read my bible thousands of times I recalled a quote about divorce:

“Whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery” (Matthew 5:32, 19:9 & Luke 16:18).

"...whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her" (Mark 10:11, Luke 16:18, Mark 10:12).

Do you guys (Christians) Think divorce people are really commiting adultery? This is the point that my aunt was debating.

My personal Opinion:
(In islam divorce is frowned upon, but is not a sin.... so I do not see it as an issue, I guess my aunt is of the opinion that it is a SIN and people who re-marry commit adultery) What do you think?

If you are a Christian and believe Homosexuality is sin, isn't it a parents duty to keep a child away from a consistant homosexual influence? example would be a teacher in a public school that is open about being homosexual and has your child in their class on a daily basis.

I'm just curious about something, given Mark Foley's recent allegation, which is apparently true. Because over the years we have heard many many stories of sexual abuse allegations at the hands of Catholic priests. So I'm just wondering about other religions and other allegations. And are there any allegations from victims of other than the Catholic priests?
